How to Get the Best Burn

For Tapers & Thin Candles

  • Use a stable candle holder that fits the candle securely.
  • Keep candles away from drafts, fans, and open windows.
  • Trim the wick if the flame becomes too large.
  • Burn candles on a heat-safe surface.
  • Never leave a burning candle unattended.

For Pillar Candles

  • Let the wax melt close to the edge during the first burn.
  • This helps create an even melt pool and reduce tunneling.
  • Keep the wick centered and trimmed to about 1/4 inch.
  • Avoid burning near drafts or direct airflow.
  • Place on a heat-resistant plate or holder.
Safety reminder: always burn candles within sight and keep them away from children, pets, curtains, paper, dried flowers, and anything flammable.
